We only ask for the details we need to quote, measure and fit your windows, and we tell you plainly what happens to them.

Who we are

What we collect
- Enquiry details, your name, email, telephone number, postcode and whatever you tell us about your windows, submitted through the contact form or the estimate tool.
- Estimate inputs, the number of windows, rooms, sizes, style and material you select, stored alongside your enquiry so we can pick up the conversation where you left it.
- Quotation and order records, the quotations we produce for you, including the address we are quoting for.
- Analytics, anonymous usage statistics, and only if you accept analytics cookies. See our cookie policy.
We do not collect payment card details on this website, and we never ask for them by email.
Why we use it and our lawful basis
- To answer your enquiry and arrange a consultation, steps taken at your request prior to entering a contract.
- To quote, order, manufacture, deliver and fit your window dressings, performance of a contract.
- To honour the guarantee and handle aftercare, performance of a contract and our legitimate interest in supporting past customers.
- To understand how the website is used, your consent, given through the cookie banner and withdrawable at any time.
Who we share it with
We share the minimum necessary with the suppliers who help us deliver your order, our manufacturing partner, delivery carriers and our fitting team, and with the technology providers who host this website, our database and our email. We do not sell your data, and we do not pass it to third parties for their own marketing.

How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become orders are kept for two years so we can pick things up if you come back to us. Order, guarantee and accounting records are kept for the periods required by the guarantee term and by UK tax law.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, object to how we use it, or withdraw consent for analytics. Email info@shutter-love.co.uk and we will respond within one month. If you are unhappy with our response you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
